Returns & Refund Policy

Last updated: 9 September 2026

Nothing in this policy removes or limits the rights you have under Maltese and EU consumer law. Where anything below appears to conflict with those rights, your legal rights apply.

1. Changing your mind — your 14-day right of withdrawal

Because you are buying at a distance, you have 14 days from the day you (or someone you nominate) physically receive the goods to tell us you are cancelling, without giving any reason.

To cancel, email avvanzmalta@gmail.com with your order number and a clear statement that you are cancelling. Your own words are fine.

Once you have told us, you have a further 14 days to send the goods back.

You may handle and examine the goods as you reasonably would in a shop. If you handle them beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, we may reduce your refund to reflect the loss in value. Please return items in their original packaging where you still have it — it protects the product in transit and helps us process your return quickly.

For a change-of-mind return, the cost of sending the goods back to us is yours.

2. Refunds

We will refund you within 14 days of being told that you are cancelling, using the same payment method you used, unless you agree otherwise. There is no fee for this.

If you paid by Cash on Delivery, we cannot refund cash through the courier, so we will arrange a bank transfer and ask you for the account details at that point.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back, or until you have supplied evidence that you have sent them, whichever happens first.

Your refund includes the standard delivery charge you paid on the original order. Where you chose a more expensive delivery option than our standard one, we refund the standard rate.

3. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

If something arrives damaged, develops a fault, or is not what you ordered, email avvanzmalta@gmail.com with:

  • your order number,
  • clear photographs of the item and, where relevant, the packaging it arrived in.

Please keep the product and its original packaging until we have agreed what happens next, as the courier may need to inspect it.

The cost of returning a faulty, damaged or incorrect item is ours, not yours. We will tell you how to send it back, or arrange collection.

4. Your two-year legal guarantee

Under Maltese law we are liable for any lack of conformity in the goods that becomes apparent within two years of delivery. In that period you are entitled to have the goods brought into conformity free of charge — normally by repair or replacement — or, where that is not possible or proportionate, to an appropriate price reduction or to cancel the contract and be refunded.

This is a statutory right. It is not conditional on you keeping the original packaging, and it applies whatever any other part of this policy says.

5. Our additional 30-day promise

On top of your legal rights, if a product develops a defect within 30 days of delivery we will replace it or refund it, provided it is returned in its original packaging. This is a voluntary commitment offered in addition to the rights set out above — it does not replace them, shorten them, or add conditions to them.

6. Items that cannot be returned

Certain goods are excluded from the right of withdrawal by law, for example sealed goods that cannot be returned for health-protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed. We do not treat the Migraine Relief Cap as falling within that exception, so it can be returned under the 14-day right of withdrawal in the normal way.

7. How to start a return

Email avvanzmalta@gmail.com before sending anything back. We will confirm the arrangements and, where the return is our responsibility, how to send it at no cost to you. Returns sent without contacting us first may take longer to process.

Our returns address is:

AVVANZ Malta
30 Triq l-Imdina
Ħal Qormi QRM 9019
Malta

8. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how a return or refund has been handled, email avvanzmalta@gmail.com and we will do our best to resolve it directly. You also retain the right to bring the matter to the Malta Competition and Consumer Affairs Authority (MCCAA) or to the Maltese courts.
